Comments about Feosol Iron Supplement Therapy, Carbonyl Iron, 45mg, Caplets, 75 ea: I have to take iron supplements and these are the only form I can take that did not mess me up of give me cramps... I have tried all other available forms with bad results - even the "gentle" formulas messed me up... If you need to take iron this is the only way to go.!! Comments about Feosol Iron Supplement Therapy, Carbonyl Iron, 45mg, Caplets, 75 ea: These iron tablets are great. Gentle on my stomach and easy to take and the price is wonderful. My physician prescribed Cortive 150 but they were getting to be a little too expensive so I tried these. They look just like the corvite 150 except the mg dosage is smaller. Prayerfully I will get the same iron count results as I did with the corvite. That's drugstore.com for having these available and in stock. Comments about Feosol Iron Supplement Therapy, Carbonyl Iron, 45mg, Caplets, 75 ea: My iron was at 17 so along with a B12 shot, I decided to take 2 months of supplemental iron. This is very well tolerated by my stomach and very easy to swallow, but I HAVE noticed constipation. I eat various types of fiber (psyllium, oat and bran) at least twice a day and this doesn't help. I'll continue to take the Feosol because it's only for a couple months. Would I buy it again? Probably, because it is highly absorbable and a good value. Cheap iron supplements aren't as absorbable and give worse constipation. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (5 of 5 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Feosol Iron Supplement Therapy, Carbonyl Iron, 45mg, Caplets, 75 ea: I have chronic anemia and have taken more than my fair share of iron pills in my lifetime. These are by far my preferred brand for two very important reasons: pill size is "normal" -- like other tablets capsules instead of huge like vitamins -- and the per-pill-dosage is higher than most iron tablets, so I don't have to take so many each day. Additionally, they are a more absorbable form of iron, so I can anticipate getting more "bang for my buck" when I take these pills vs. others. Finally, they have no taste either when swallowing or afterwards. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (9 of 9 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful?
