I thought my scalp had become dry after moving to Florida. I didn't even realize that the itching & breakouts on my scalp, shoulders & upper back were due to allergic reaction. I use the shampoo & conditioner every other day & it works great. It doesn't lather like a traditional shampoo, but it still gets my hair completely clean. It rinses out easily too. It's fine when I'm working in the yard & need to use it everyday too. If Finesse ever discontinues this I don't know what I'll use!

I am gluten-sensitive and so I was excited to find an inexpensive shampoo/conditioner that contained no sulfates, parabens,gluten, etc...Well, I have medium textured wavy hair, so it tends to dry out easily without a good amount of moisturizer. This conditioner just didn't cut it for me as there isn't enough moisturizing ingredients in it. I tried to give it some time and even after a good portion of the bottle was gone, my hair still felt as dry and frizzy as it did with my old sulfate-containing hair products. It cleans/rinses well without the harsh chemicals, so that part was nice. I need more than just clean hair though, I need some good moisturizing action as do many of us who have thicker,coarser,drier hair. I'd say this is probably best used on finer,thinner,and/or oilier hair types. Even though it didn't work well for my hair type, it was worth a shot :)

I bought both the Clean & Simple shampoo and conditioner. I use only sulfate-free hair products, so I was curious about the Finesse line. The conditioner works fine for every day use - don't expect a 'deep' conditioning here. My hair is fine-textured, so it's a good product for me. I actually rub a nickel-sized amount into my hair after towel drying and use as a leave-in conditioner. Stay away from the shampoo - I needed WAY too much to feel like my hair was clean.

I am on a gluten free diet and thought this made sense for me to try. I have a lot of hair loss in the shower and all day long. This product combined with the shampoo made my hair fall out twice as much. I really wanted this product to work for me and tried it several times. I now have a scalp that is itching and burning. I have never had that symptom with anything in the past. I did like the smell of the product. It did also make my hair color look nice.
