I love this shampoo. My scalp and hair feels clean and healthy. Gives my hair great bounce! Please don't ever discontinue this shampoo. A hypoallergenic shampoo at a great price.

Had to find a hypoallergenic shampoo due to getting a skin reaction along hairline (out of nowhere!). This cleans well but it does not make many suds. Once you get used to that, it seems to clean well.

After reading the other reviews I decided to try this shampoo in an effort to soothe my sensitive skin and scalp. I found it to be a wonderful product!

I have thick, fine, wavy hair that I have been coloring for years. The shampoo did not dry my hair at all. The scent is light and pleasant, and it does a great job of cleaning.

I does not lather like shampoos with sulfates, so it took a week or so to get accustomed to how much of it to use.

I thought my scalp had become dry after moving to Florida. I didn't even realize that the itching & breakouts on my scalp, shoulders & upper back were due to allergic reaction. I use the shampoo & conditioner every other day & it works great. It doesn't lather like a traditional shampoo, but it still gets my hair completely clean. It rinses out easilty too. It's fine when I'm working in the yard & need to use it everyday too. If Finesse ever discontinues this I don't know what I'll use!

I am gluten-sensitive and so I was excited to find an inexpensive shampoo that contained no sulfates, parabens,gluten, etc...Well, I have medium textured wavy hair, so it dries out easily without a good amount of moisturizer. This shampoo just didn't cut it for me as there isn't enough moisturizing ingredients. After a good portion of the bottle was gone, my hair still felt as dry and frizzy as it did with sulfate-containing shampoos and hair products. It cleans well without the harsh chemicals, so that part was nice. Again though, it's just doesn't have enough moisturizing action for those of us with thicker, coarser,drier hair. It's best used on finer,thinner,and/or oilier hair types.

I was looking forward to trying this sulfate-free shampoo. However, I am disappointed. Compared to other sulfate-free shampoos that are affordable, this one is lacking. It seemed to take WAY more shampoo than necessary to feel like I was cleaning my hair. As far as sulfate-free shampoos go, this one is ho-hum - nothing special. The conditioner is much better - a nice, light-weight conditioner for every day use.

This is the first product I have ever used on my hair that did not make my scalp itch terribly! I have super sensitive skin and this is the first shampoo that leaves my hair clean and itch free. Would highly recommend!!

I highly recommend this new shampoo as well as the coordinating conditioner. I have thick wavy hair (brunette) and I have always struggled with finding a shampoo that I really like that doesn't leave my hair too oily or weigh it down. I have also very recently become more conscious about the products that I put on my hair and body. I have noticed that my scalp itches alot and it's not dandruff! So I went on the "sulfate free" diet with some organic shampoos and immediately noticed a difference, but along with the higher price tag I also noticed that most organic shampoos just did not "Wow" me, they were always lacking of something that I could not put my finger on. But this product really has impressed me. It does not lather much, but I knew this and could live with that. It cleans thoroughly though and smells great and does not make my scalp itch! I will definitely continue to use this product. I am almost out of the shampoo so I have waited to review this until I had given it some time. I am the type of person that must wash my hair daily and usually first thing in the morning. This product is so wonderful that I can now shampoo the night before and my hair still feels fresh, clean, and soft the following day. I have normal hair as a rule with oily roots and dry ends but I chose the dry hair formula because I blow dry and use a flat iron daily which does tend to dry my hair out some. The matching conditioner is awesome in my opinion. I love a condtioner that rinses out thoroughly and doesn't leave a slimy film behind.

My best piece of advice is to be patient, give the product some time, and do your best to get past the mindset that "if it doesn't lather it's not cleaning" mentality. It took me awhile, but I did finally get past it and I'm amazed at how much softer, healthier and cleaner my hair feels now that I have given up sulfates.

Sorry for the long review, but I hope that it helps others as I know that I rely alot on other reviews myself! :)
