This product works extremely well. The dishes always come out totally clean, even with the usual difficult culprits to deal with: stuck on eggs, melted cheeses, roasting pans, etc. Other products that I have tried have not done as well.

My dishwasher manufacturer recommended this but I did try what I thought was bigger name brand products. Turns out nothing is as good as Finish. Great product.

This is so horrible it makes me scared to buy any of their products. I've used this before and it's so frustrating. Your glassware will all be either stained or have a lot of residue or both! Ugh!!

These are very comparable to Cascade Action Packs -I used these as an alternative because they were on sale. I was impressed! I don't always scrub off all the food off of plates etc so I pleasantly surprised to see all of my dishes super clean

I purchased these because I could not locate Cascade Complete (my brand of choice) in any store, or here on drugstore.com. The tabs worked surprisingly well. I've only had to re-wash a few times, and I never pre-wash. Truthfully, most problems have been b/c one of my daughters loaded the dishwasher wrong! This is a good product.

The thing is that powdered dishwasher detergents were etching my glassware because they took way too long to dissolve completely and the undissolved powder had an abrasive effect on the glassware over time. So I tried a liquid gel dishwasher detergent. Nonabrasive for sure, but my stainless flatware wasn't getting clean enough and chapstick on the rims of glasses and coffee mugs was still there after a washload. All this started happening when my landlord replaced my old dishwasher with a new, watersaving model.

So I tried these tablets and discovered that they're just the ticket. Everything comes out totally clean and shiny. The directions tell you that putting one tablet in the covered cup will do the trick, but I like to do that and fill the uncovered cup with liquid gel detergent (cheaper) as a pre-wash if my dishes and flatware are really dirty. If they're lightly soiled, just the tablet is fine.

At more than 30 cents a tablet with just 20 in the box, I recommend shopping around. There's a larger size (60 tabs) and when on sale, it can cost significantly less per washload.

When I have company, I like to be able to put my actual silverware in the dishwasher. Powdered dishwasher detergent is notorious for staining real silver, but the liquid gel and the tablets are fine because they don't deposit wet, undissolved powdered detergent on the silver at the beginning of the wash cycle. I totally recommend these tablets for sterling silver or silverplate -- just make sure any real silver cannot touch any stainless steel items while being washed.

As far as the tablet not dissolving in the water and leaving undissolved detergent, well, I've never had that happen, not even once. Of course, I unwrap the tablet first and throw away the plastic wrapper. Unlike those "gelpacs," the outer wrapper on the tablet does not dissolve and you do have to remove it before putting the tablet in the dishwasher.
