I use this for my kids to help them go to sleep. Now, my daughter (2-1/2) turns it on when she wakes up at night & she falls right back to sleep. Teaching my 9-month old to do the same! A friend has a 7-yr old who sucks her thumb to fall asleep. They have been trying to break the habit but she couldn't fall asleep. After sharing the room with my daughter she decided she wanted a seahorse too. No more thumb sucking & she's sleeping well! A must for all new babies & older ones too!

This product is great for entertaining infants at home or in the carseat. I do wish that it had volume control and an on/off switch similar to the one that the 'sleep sheep' has so that you can turn it down when you are trying to get baby to drift off to sleep.

My son was given this for his first Christmas at 2 months old. It has slept in the crib with him since. He is now over 2 years old and the glow seahorse has been the one toy he HAS to have to go to sleep. Very easy to wash and change batteries, besides having obvious signs of love, this toy has lasted through long nights and is still going strong.
