You can get a few good uses from each pair before they start getting a little icky, and loose their shape. I'd say anywhere from 3 to 6 good nights, maybe a little more. I did have some discomfort with each new pair, since they needed to be broken in, but not enough to go without. I did, however, find another type of earplugs at my local drugstore by Flents that are tapered designed for added comfort that I feel work a little better because of their design and are NRR 33 versus these that are ~25 to ~30. These do work great, but if you're wanting earplugs that are a bit more comfortable, try to find Flents comfort foam. They run about the same price depending on where you go. I put one in, getting ready for bed, and I had to remove it with tweezers. Regardless to say, I could not use them and my ear ached for a while after I removed it (I did not put it in too far, I followed the instructions). I was very disappointed. Please - Foam Ear Plugs, 6 pr: I'm a very light sleeper and use these every night to block out hubbies snoring, and the pack of coyotes and Great Horned Owls that live around my yard and wake me up. These earplugs are MUCH better than the soft rubber ones which cause sores to form in my ear canal, and fall out frequently. When I can find these, I stock up on them. The other similar products do not work well with me. They are either too uncomfortable or do not block the noise well enough. While I wouldn't use it, say, at a shooting range, it definitely blocks out enough of the upstairs neighbors, barking dogs, and other nighttime noises to be worth the investment. Comments about Flents Quiet! Please - Foam Ear Plugs, 6 pr: I use these most nights and definitely whenever I nap. They help block the sounds of life around me and materially improve my sleep. They are GREAT for travel -- wouldn't leave home without them. There is a bit of a ringing noise, but I think you get that with any earplug use. they stopped carrying them at my regular drugstore so I bought them on line, that is how committed I am to this brand. They are nice light foam that compresses well and then expands to your ear. They really work. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? I FOUND IT DOES NOT GO INTO THE EAR CANAL, THERFORE, IT DOES NOT QUIET THE SOUND IN ANYWAY, SHAPE OR FORM.
