Tried all the products - PedEgg (which worked well but would become dull after a couple of uses), pumices, feet brushes for the shower, expensive Barielle foot cream, etc. Slathered my feet at night then put socks on (but didn't do it every night, I would forget). Had manicurists buff my heels to death and admonish me and say I have to moisturize every night. Would nod my head and go home with relatively smooth heels but would still have rough spots. Well I was in the supermarket and just happened to see this, in the 2 oz size and thought I would try it, what do I have to lose? It was an immediate improvement -- after just one application. I didn't even put it on right before bed. My heels now look NORMAL and I had a pedicure today and now my heels look AMAZING!! And she didn't even have to buff them for a long time! I was concerned about the urea/aluminum as well but my husband/doctor says it is fine. I do wash my hands thoroughly after applying. TRY IT YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE except your disgusting dry cracked heels!!! I can't wait to show my kids my gorgeous feet, I keep forgetting to show them, they will be thrilled! I'm going to tell everyone about it, even random strangers, who have cracked heels, I'm not shy! I'm buying the Flexitol hand cream right now, it's got to be incredible. THANK YOU!!! I had tried everything on the market and nothing could even compare to the original formula of this heel balm. Because I order so many at a time, I had just begun to run out and ordered more tubes. I opened one up and was stunned to find a stinky, white oily cream emerge that doesn't even resemble the formula I'm used to. I opened another and the same thing. I called and found out that they did in fact change the formula (I thought I got a bad tube)! It used to be a very rich and creamy yellow cream that never smelled wonderful, but now it's an average, lightweight oily mess that reeks like crazy and stunk up my entire bedroom! It doesn't even feel the same and the smell is just putrid! I am so disappointed! Now I have to start trying other balms again to find something comparable to what this was! In combination with gel socks or duct tape (something that doesn't absorb the lotion or pull it away from the skin) this lotion is practically a miracle. The only thing I don't care for is the film it leaves on my hands (though that's probably one of the reasons it works so well). Comments about Flexitol Heel Balm, 4 oz: Great stuff for cracked dry heels. I wrap my feet in plastic and wear socks (a must) since it's greasy. The old formula was even better but I've tried lots of creams and this works best. I was sad to hear they changed the formula and got very nervous when I read some people said it didn't work anymore. I bought some of the new product a couple weeks ago and it works just as well for me! I just wanted to let you all know. I can't be without this wonderful product! Comments about Flexitol Heel Balm, 4 oz: I always have rough feet when I'm pregnant or in the summer months. This works great to help smooth them out again. You really need to exfoliate your feet in the shower often... then put this cream on (use a lot) and put socks on to absorb the cream. It works awesome! i have tried a lot of different creams and the results were not as good as this.
