Folgard Rx 2.2-25-1mg is a vitamin combination used as a supplement to diet to treat or prevent vitamin deficiency. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Some medicines or medical conditions may interact with Folgard Rx 2.2-25-1mg. INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. ADDITIONAL MONITORING OF YOUR DOSE OR CONDITION may be needed if you are taking hydantoins (such as phenytoin), or fluorouracil. DO NOT START OR STOP any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions including a history of blood problems (such as pernicious anemia), eye or vision problems (such as Leber hereditary optic atrophy), allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or concerns about using Folgard Rx 2.2-25-1mg.
Follow the directions for using Folgard Rx 2.2-25-1mg provided by your doctor. STORE FOLGARD RX 2.2-25-1mg at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat, moisture, and light. IF YOU MISS TAKING A DOSE OF FOLGARD RX 2.2-25-1mg, for 1 or more days, there is no cause for concern. If your doctor recommended that you take it, try to remember your dose every day.
DO NOT TAKE FOLGARD RX 2.2-25-1mg if you have had an allergic reaction to it or are allergic to any ingredient in this product. DO NOT TAKE large doses of vitamins (megadoses or megavitamin therapy) while taking Folgard Rx 2.2-25-1mg unless directed to do so by your doctor. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSE without checking with your doctor. DO NOT DRIVE, OPERATE MACHINERY, OR DO ANYTHING ELSE THAT COULD BE DANGEROUS until you know how you react to Folgard Rx 2.2-25-1mg. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. This includes any other vitamins or minerals. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using Folgard Rx 2.2-25-1mg during pregnancy. IT IS UNKNOWN IF FOLGARD RX 2.2-25-1mg IS EXCRETED in breast milk. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you are using Folgard Rx 2.2-25-1mg, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
NO COMMON SIDE EFFECTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED with the proper use of Folgard Rx 2.2-25-1mg. If you notice any unusual effects, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. AN ALLERGIC REACTION to Folgard Rx 2.2-25-1mg is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, or trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. KEEP FOLGARD RX 2.2-25-1mg out of the reach of children and pets. IF USING FOLGARD RX 2.2-25-1mg FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME, obtain refills before your supply runs out.
