Made of gel, these caps are large, but are fairly easily swallowed. In the past I've been frustrated by the calcium "horse" tablets that I had to cut up in small pieces or grind in order to take -- not so anymore! I'm happy with this product (just wish the gel caps were a tad bit smaller ...) -- but grateful for a good-quality calcium supplement I can take without all the hassle!
