As with lemon or lime shampoos, I was expecting my hair to get a little dried out, but it wasn't. The reason for 4 stars is that it didn't give my hair 'shine' although my hair did look 'lighter,' VS Most Liked Negative Review OK This is an average shampoo. Comments about Freeman Papaya and Lime, Shine Shampoo, 13.5 fl oz: This product is cheap and is called "shampoo" and that is all it is...cheap shampoo. It does NOT, smell like "papaya" or "lime" at all. It smells more like the cheap pink handsoap you find in the dispensers of public restrooms. Sort of like washing your hair with that, except its a little thicker and its green in color. The conditioner is exactly the same, except a little "creamier", but also has an unappealing "handsoap" smell and does nothing for my normal/straight hair.

Comments about Freeman Papaya and Lime, Shine Shampoo, 13.5 fl oz: My hair is a bit on the oily side, but the ends get dry. This shampoo is wonderful, it doesn't weigh my hair down but my ends are still nice and silky. The smell is wonderful but not overwhelming. Comments about Freeman Papaya and Lime, Shine Shampoo, 13.5 fl oz: This stuff is great. Smells great and makes my hair soft and shiny. Great lather too. Comments about Freeman Papaya and Lime, Shine Shampoo, 13.5 fl oz: Freeman Papaya and Lime Overboard Shine Shampoo and Conditioner rock out loud! "Shine" is what you get! The aroma is heavenly; he'll remember that delicious scent all day (and night) long! Smells gently light and fabulous, not overwhelming. Leaves my hair sooo clean, soft, shiny, and bouncy. Also I intermittently use the other formula, "Papaya & Mango" Moisturizing shampoo (I don't need conditioner when I use that one). It, too, smells fabulous, and really leaves my hair at its very best. Price is great, it's hard to find locally, so I'm stocking up on it today, in both Lime & Mango formulas. One tip *A little conditioner goes a long way; I use 2 bottles of shampoo for every one bottle of conditioner. Also, these dispense "upside down". The flip top lid serves as the base that it stands on. Dispensing the product is really easy and convenient. I use this on my child's hair also (mango formula is great for long hair!). Comments about Freeman Papaya and Lime, Shine Shampoo, 13.5 fl oz: I am constantly searching for a unisex smelling conditioner because my boyfriend won't use a girly one. This smells faintly of lime and a je ne sais quoi sort of sweetness, but does not work well as a conditioner for either of us. My hair is thin and dry, and it leaves it a tangled mess. It works better on my boyfriend's normal, thick hair, but not much. A really light texture but not very moisturizing and kind of sticky. Smells great though - very summery.
