I've been hearing about mineral makeup for a while now, but was recently prompted to order by a hairsylist that had been using AVEDA products that had been causing her skin to break out. She switched to minerals and her skin cleared right up. These powders are so light and airy that they are perfect for summer days here in Georgia. Short application time and skin looks smooth and supple. Highly recommend.

I used the blush and while the color palette is gorgeous, the texture is not. Very cakey and dry looking. I look painted on. Not smooth at all. I am using Revlon minerals foundation and even though I am disappointed that it does contain talc (which at least FM doesn't) it's a much smoother, flattering product and I will be getting THEIR blush as well. I had a smooth finish...until I applied the FM blush this morning!

The coverage was great for making my mild/moderate acne disappear and after a week of use my skin actually started clearning up. I liked the colors in the starter pack and the eyeshadow didn't irritate my very sensitive eyes. I didn't feel "dirty" and my skin stayed fresh and shine-free all day.

The downside is that one of the brushes lost its handle after a week of travel and the product flow is difficult to control. I solved this problem by tapping some mineral into the lid and using it that way. Straight off the dispenser top was far too heavy!

I used this makeup and that night I took it off and it looked like I was playing in the dirt all day I mean black and dirt brown when I use my normal liquid makeup I take it of at the end of the day and it is the color of my foundation this was a complete waste of money I felt bad buying it for such a high price but than for it not to stay and be nothing but dirt was very very disappointed not to mention I broke out the next day I usally break out once a month and this wasnt even in a area I never break out in was my cheek..Horrible hopefully [...] return is as good as everyone says I would not recommend this makeup to my worse enemies..I owe my great skin to Neutrogena

Bought the kit at [...] and love it. I got the medium and it's pretty much the same as Bare Minerals, except it came with only one foundation colour. I bought the medium and works well with my skin, which tends to be sensitive....As with Bare Minerals, use very little and it lasts all day. Highly recommend. I do still have a few favs from Bare Mineral, Glee...lipliner and lip gloss.

I actually first spotted this product in my warehouse store. I was confused because they only had either light or medium. I bought the starter pack and discovered that either light or medium works for my skin. I have used bare minerals in fairly light and been happy with it. The minerals are so easy to apply and feel like you are wearing nothing.

This had awful coverage, and since I have combination skin it would make dry parts even drier and stick to my skin, and it would wear off and make my pores extremely visible on oily areas of my skin. I haven't like most mineral makeups I've tried.

Wow!! I was a sworn Bare Minerals girl...until now.. What a great product and value. Foundation, Bronzer, loose powder, 2 eyeshadows, brushes and a DVD!!! For the price of one of the BE foundation!!! My credit account on the "shopping channel" will be going down significantly!

Junk, junk, junk. The brushes started falling apart from the get-go...hairs all over. I had to glue one back together. The plastic containers are impossible to open and close since the contents interfere with the cheap-o packaging.

Although guaranteed to be hypo-whatever, my eyes itched and burned. I'm tossing the whole kit out.
