Texas Original Taco Skillet Sauce
Amp up your tacos by adding fresh flavor. All it takes is a pouch of Frontera Taco Skillet Sauce warmed with browned meat or chicken. For a flavor that takes me straight back to my Southwest childhood, I simmer browned ground chuck with the richness of red chile, tomato and spices, wrap it in warn corn tortillas and enjoy some of the best tacos ever.

Quick Recipe - Serves 4 to 6
Texas Beef Tacos
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 large potato, cooked, peeled, diced (optional)
- 1 pouch Frontera Taco Skillet Sauce
Brown beef with onion (and potato if using) in large nonstick skillet, about 10 min. Stir sauce into skillet; heat through. Serve in warm tortillas with cilantro & tomato. Variation: Substitute ground turkey for ground beef and brown with onion in 1 tablespoon oil.
