She has had allergic reactions to flea collars in the past causing her respiratory problems. We started using Frontline last spring/summer, she had a very mild allergic reaction, not even worth mentioning - (her 'meow' was a little scratchy the first day or so) but she was flea free the whole summer/fall. The once monthly application is convenient and it works. I ordered it this spring and have given her the first application of the year and she had no reaction this year and no signs of fleas!
