This is the best hair gel I have found, and I have tried a lot. I've been using this as my only hair product for several years now on my very curly hair and it is so gentle and not drying or sticky and gluey. Just lightweight hold.

This truly is aloe-vera, without the mile-long list of additives moast brands add-in.

The texture is a bit too thick, and it feels sticky on the skin unless you massage it in seemingly endlessly.

Since I like the product, I dilute it down with distilled water to a consistency that doesn't feel greasy. For my needs, that's about 25% of water per volume.

I wrote "greasy" in the list of cons, but I really meant thick and sticky, not a greasy feel.
