I used this to treat toenail fungus on my big toenail. I'd never had it before so I wondered why the nail was turning white, thick, and finally started to come detached on one side! After figuring out what it was, I researched and learned the active ingredient in FungiCure is the highest recommended.

The trick is to work it as far UNDER the nail as you can, it won't work if you just paint it on the surface. I worked it under the nail and applied a bandaid to cover it up and keep the medicine where it belonged, not absorbed by my socks or bedsheets. I also used an emory board to scrape off dead nail to get to the layers underneath.

It took about a year for the healthy nail to grow all the way out, but it looks great and I apply the FungiCure as a preventive measure about once a week.

I purchased this product to treat a toenail and fingernail fungus. The package prominently displays before and after pictures of an infected toenail. On the top of the box it states that it is for the treatment of, among other fungi, nail fungus. After using it for some time with not much if any result. I reread the bottle and the bottom of the box and it states the this product is not effective against nail fungus. Well, could this company contradict itself any more.

Comments about FungiCure Anti-Fungal Liquid Treatment, 1 fl oz:

I have tried EVERYTHING to get rid of the fungus under my toenail. For at least about 6 months. Then I ran across this product, and it worked like a charm. It took a long time, but that is because I had to wait until the "black" toenail grew out, but it did not let the fungus grow to the lower part of the nail.

It was not messy, it dried in an instant. The smell was not bad either.

Comments about FungiCure Anti-Fungal Liquid Treatment, 1 fl oz:

Over the past three years I've tried just about everything but the pill and my formerly pretty feet have gotten progressively worse until finally some under-the-toenail fungus struck. This, on top of thick calluses and a fungus that dug a hole between two of my toes was the last straw. Based on the previous review I bought the FungiCure liquid and the soap. What I did: 1. Soaked feet in FungiCure soap n' water. 2. Scrubbed with Diamancel buffers. 3. Soaked. 4. Salt scrubbed. 5. Dried n' applied liquid. I expected nothing since I've tried everything. However, when I got home from work the next day and took off my socks (gross stuff ahead) I had layers flaked off dead skin in my socks. That was three weeks ago. My feet are now soft in places they haven't been in years and getting softer. The hole between my toes cleared and the toenail is almost clear (note: I Dremeled the toenail surface down to get to the fungal infection). It isn't all gone just yet but it's getting a lot better.

Great stuff. Use in conjunction with the Anti-fungal wash. Totally cleared up a bad toenail issue I was having.

          FungiCure Anti-Fungal Liquid Treatment

           – Fungal infections that affect the finger and toe nails are common. Treating any given infection can be difficult, however, because of the range of different fungi that can infect the nails. FungiCure Anti-Fungal Liquid Treatment contains ingredients capable of killing six different types of fungal infection, including ringworm and athlete's foot. It can treat common fungal infections of the fingers and toes, including those that affect the skin, nails, and the region under the tips of the nails. If you can reach the infection with the applicator brush, then FungiCure Anti-Fungal Liquid Treatment can help.

          What Is a Fungal Infection?

Fungi are living organisms in the same family as yeast and mold. They live in the natural environment, generally in dark, damp locations, and survive by absorbing nutrients from the surfaces on which they grow. Humans can pick up fungi from animals, other people, or from surfaces on which the fungi live.

          Symptoms of a Fungal Infection

Typical fungal infections that affect the body's surface fall into three categories: those that affect the skin and hair, those that affect the skin and nails, and those that affect all three. Ringworm and athlete's foot are the two most common fungal infections and they commonly affect the hair, skin, and nails. Itching, scaling, cracking, burning, redness, soreness, irritation, and discomfort of the affected area are all common. Nails will often become cloudy, thickened and brittle. In some cases, nails will also take on a yellow, green, or brown discoloration.

How FungiCure Anti-Fungal Liquid Treatment Works

Undecylenic acid is the active ingredient in FungiCure Anti-Fungal Liquid Treatment. It is widely recognized as an effective agent against fungi because it kills the organism and also prevents it from spreading into surrounding tissue. Undecylenic acid is most effective when applied directly to the fungus. FungiCure Anti-Fungal Liquid Treatment also contains Aloe vera gel to help soothe the injured skin and vitamin E to promote healthy nail growth. Topical FungiCure Anti-Fungal Liquid Treatment has none of the side effects of oral anti-fungal medications. If you suspect you have a fungal infection, talk to your doctor and ask if FungiCure is right for you.
