I wear these every day for work at a hospital. They are light, breathable material, not hot, sturdy wear after wear. I have no varicose weins like some co-workers do. I am a faithful user of these stockings because they work.
I have suffered from severe swelling in my feet and lower legs for years. I have worn the Futuro restoring socks and really love their effectiveness. My acupuncturist stands on his feet 8-9 hours a day and no massage or massager can relieve the pain in his legs. So I bought him these thigh-high stockings. He has been wearing them often and says they are very tight, supportive, and really works to relieve the stiffness, swelling and pain in his legs. The discomfort is minimal.
If you work all day on your feet, these things are GREAT. I'm a surgical nurse, and I could spend hours standing in the same place. I used to have pain that ran up and down my outer thighs, no matter what shoes I wore. These stockings took that all away, and I don't even have the foot fatigue that I used to have. Wonderful!
