The pain has hindered my ability to work out as regularly and strenuously as I used to. I suppose the weakening of my muscles is what caused me to get plantar fasiciitis. It was incredibly painful and I was prescribed a night brace from the orthopedics dept. I had already ordered this one but it had not come in the mail yet. The one from the orthotics dept SUCKED. It braced your leg underneath, which would make the bottom of your foot really hot and sweaty and the straps over the top of your leg would dig in during the night if you moved. Suffice to say it did nothing to help the situation. I wore the "prescribed" brace for a little over a month. When I got this one it worked almost immediately... of course I also got custom shoe orthotics a couple days later too. The combination of a brace that worked and my custom orthotics made my plantar fasciitis go way within 5-6 days! It was like I've never had it! Trust me this one works and is good if you have big calves too btw, mine are larger than average from when I fought competively. I have two of these orthopedic braces, different types, and when my p.f. acts up, wearing either at night for a few consecutive nights settles down the soreness in my heel. BUT these orthopedic braces are huge - way too bulky to pack and bring on an airplane. This much smaller brace will easily fit in a suitcase, but is not anywhere near as protective of a sore heel or toes that stick up in bed. It does comfortably pull the heel/ankle to keep foot from extending. It aids p.f. - but if you need true healing of sore heels, it's not good enough! Cons Best Uses Comments about FUTURO Plantar Fasciitis, Sleep Support, One Size, 1 ea: I was told by my doctor to use this and although I originally thought it was a silly idea I bought it anyway and began to use it. Much to my surprise it does lessen the morning heel pain. Never would have thought of it on my own!

Best Uses Comments about FUTURO Plantar Fasciitis, Sleep Support, One Size, 1 ea: This was simple to use but did not provide the support I thought it would. It's one size so it didn't fit around the calf right. It didn't stay in place and kept slipping down my bottom half of the calf making it loose and slipping loose around the foot. I am going to return it.

Comments about FUTURO Plantar Fasciitis, Sleep Support, One Size, 1 ea: This splint is good if you do not have sensitive feet. If you ever have had pins and needles from wearing shoes which cover or strap over your foot, don't buy this type of splint. It will put pressure on the nerves on the top of your foot and this is problematic. Get the type that is a posterior splint.

Cons Best Uses Comments about FUTURO Plantar Fasciitis, Sleep Support, One Size, 1 ea: After reading the mixed reviews, I decided to go ahead and try this product because the sale price was very good. I had previously tried a large boot/splint, but it was impossible to sleep in since I like to move around. If you wear this splint with a medium to heavy sock it is very comfortable and keeps your foot in a good position. I am average height and wear a size 8 shoe and this seems to work perfectly for me. I walk a lot for exercise but my heel pain was making this difficult. This splint has definitely been helpful in that regard.

Comments about FUTURO Plantar Fasciitis, Sleep Support, One Size, 1 ea: This was SO much more comfortable than the one my doctor gave me (admittedly a long time ago). I wore this night splint 3 nights in a row, and my heel pain was completely gone! I am amazed! ![]() |
