I was told by my doctors that I should wear support socks daily. I have looked far and wide and always come back to drugstore.com to purchase my socks. Futuro socks are well made and last a long time. If you fly you should always wear support socks to help to prevent DVT (blood clots in your legs). I also find that that my feet do not get tired and sore after being on them for a long time. VS Most Liked Negative Review Not just for exercise. He swears by these! They look nice, stay up (and he still looks great in knee-highs!), and help stop these sores from erupting...at which time he needs to treat with salves and bandages. Plus, they're COMFORTABLE to wear! The only problem seems to be they wear out eventually, but then again--he wears them every day.

I have older socks that are much more firm than newer socks, even though they have been worn and washed many more times. I have to wear two pair of the newer socks to get the firmness needed. There have actually been two degradations of quality in the last 10 years. I wrote the manufacturer, but no response. Obviously, they are cutting corners to save dollars, same old story told over and over again in retail. Still, it's the best compression sock that I have been able to find. If anyone else knows of a better product, please post it. Thanks. Pros

These socks are about the only thing that provide enough comfortable support that keeps these things at bay. He wears them throughout the day--not just when he has problems--and they stay up without effort and are SO comfortable (he says). Please don't ever get rid of this product...

I have an ulcer above my ankle and since I started wearing these socks I have had no problems with this ulcer. Without these socks this ulcer would open up about every six weeks or so. I wear these socks daily and my last Doctors visit was Feb 14 2011. So now I'm going on "SIX MONTHS" and DRUGSTORE.COM had a very good price for these socks. I will be ordering more.
