For a short time I was not able to find them and had to settle for just a plain support hose in which I had to double up to get the support I needed. Now that I have found drugstore.com I do not have to worry about getting them. They are just as good as the ones that one of my neighbors has that cost almost $200. My doctor recommended me getting support knee highs. I guess I was expecting them to be more like the thigh high support hose I got from another brand maker. These were much thicker than I thought and didn't provide as much compression as I wanted even though I got the 20-30. They are comfortable though. After I was given the ok to return to my martial arts training, I needed to find a stocking that wouldn't slide all over the floor but would still give me adequate support. This was literally the only product I could find with an open heel AND open toe design that was actually comfortable. Enough of the bottom of my foot is exposed that I have good traction on the mats but I still get the advantage of the extra ankle/foot support, unlike the completely footless options that are available. I bought 5 and will probably buy others because I can easily go through 3 a day on days when I work out more than once. Will also be great for wearing with sandals when summer arrives (I'm really trying to rock this compression stocking look!) The only downside is I wish they came in the 30-40 mmHg compression grade as well (they are 20-30).

I use it daily. I like that I can wear it with my sandals and the beige color for Summer. The one thing about it (besides just getting one), is that it is thick. But it does the job with the firm compression, and looks better than black or white compression hose.

Over the last 2-3 years the quality has lessened and the fit is not as good as it used to be. The price has also gone down, however I would much rather pay a little more for a higher quality product than less for a lower quality one.

The doctor says to get rid of the inflammation, I need to not walk for 2 weeks! Like, that's going to happen. However, this support stocking allows me to do 30 minutes on the eliptical machine without pain! I bike, I do strength training exercises, and none of it was pain-free before ... but now it is! Pros
