I'm a sewer and my wrist/thumb has been acting up on & off for a year (I'm 25 years old by the way). I used a regular wrist brace that stabilized my wrist and it helped a little but not like this brace! It not only keeps my thumb in place (in comfort I might add!) but it also keeps my wrist comfortably stabilized. Why I never bought this sooner is beyond me but it has helped IMMENSELY. Now I can work on projects without fearing my wrist will act up. Wearing this assures me that I won't over do it. I'm so very pleased with this and hope you buy one today!!! Will not be disappointed!

Im a knitter and sewer and I was experiencing thumb pain that ran down my wrist. I tried crafting gloves but they were like thin pantyhose and offered no support or cofort. As soon as i put this on my pain was allievated , im so HAPPY not enoungh of the hand products take into account the thumb. I will continue buy these. they are great

It helps relieve pain in my hands and keeps thumb stabilized so as to relieve pressure. I wear it daily, and it really helps with the Arthritis in my hands

It will not get clean and it keeps dirt stains which does not look clean. Could have been made to go a little higher up the arm. A dark brown or black color choice would be nice also.

I was fitted with a custom hand/thumb brace. It is hard plastic and an ugly pick/orange color. This brace gives me the same support but is softer and blends in with my skin color so it's not so noticeable. I like it so much, I ordered a second one!

My thumbs were starting to give me little pains when I gripped things. Then I did a lot of work and ruined them. I felt if I could stabilize them I'd have a chance for them to get better. I ordered a set of these and it really helps during the day. You can bend the metal supports to make it comfortable and they slip on and off easily for when I am using water or cooking. They have really helped. I sleep in a different kind that stabilize the wrist and thumb. Getting old sucks!!!

This is the most comfortable thumb stabilizer I have found. It is absorbant and and much more comfortable than the custom splint I have used. It also works easily as well on either thumb.

After numerous surgeries due to arthritic problems, this brace has been a godsend as far as being the most effective and allowing mobility to use the rest of your hand.

I like that Futuro's product is flesh color which makes it less noticeable. When arthritic pain is excessive and/or I am engaging in activities that stress the basal thumb joint it helps a lot without severely limiting hand movements.
Open all Velcro® brand fasteners and slide thumb into thumb hole. Wrap stabilizer around hand and secure fastener at the base of the wrist.
Wrap long strap around wrist and secure. Adjust both closures until fit feels firm, yet comfortable.
Wrap and secure thumb strap around thumb for better fit, or along base of thumb for added stability. The metal stays can be adjusted to accommodate recommended positioning, or removed completely for moderate support.
Care: To wash, remove both metal stabilizers through slits at the base of the support, and secure all closures. Hand wash with mild soap in warm (not hot) water, rinse well and air dry. Do Not machine wash, tumble dry, dry clean, use bleach, fabric softeners.
