The Gaggia Platinum Swing uses a sleek, modern design (including a digital LCD screen and backlit touch ring controls) to achieve sophisticated, traditional brewing - a true unity of the past and future of espresso. For excellent heat retention, and to assure Rapid Steam function, the Platinum Swing features a stainless steel lined boiler. Includes The Milk Island.
Each crema-topped shot of espresso is customizable to your preferences, as you can adjust the dosage from 7 to 10.5 grams of espresso per shot, adjust grind fineness to coarse, medium or fine, turn pre-infusion on or off, and more. The Pannarello steam wand ensures effortless frothing and steaming for thick cappuccinos and lattes, and the commercial-quality burr grinder crushes beans evenly and consistently to your preferred level of fineness.
The Gaggia Platinum Swing creates a coffee bar in your kitchen, a perfect addition for the home barista.
For instant cappuccinos, lattes, steamers, and more, the Gaggia Milk Island locks onto your Gaggia Platinum espresso machine to deliver fresh foamed and steamed milk. Add cold milk to the carafe, which holds up to 13.5 oz, and turn the steam knob on your Platinum machine to the milk island setting. When you've finished foaming and steaming milk, the Gaggia Milk Island is easy to take apart and clean, with a black plastic top and a no-drip spout. You can even adjust the amount of foam for a wet or dry cappuccino.
