This is a nice kava extract of good quality and consistency. It produces a nice relaxing effect to help with sleep or just to unwind in the evening. It is not as potent as taking kava in the traditional manner (making a drink with powdered root), but it is much more convenient and pleasant. I would have given it 5 stars except that I think it is pretty expensive compared to the powdered root.
I like to take a couple capsules an hour before bed if I'm feeling stressed out, anxious , or just want a deeper sleep. I find I dream better and when I fall alseep - even for a couple hours - I'm out. Also I may take 1 capsule during the day if I'm feeling the need to be calmer without any drowsy side effects.
this seems to be a higher quality kava product than some on the market, so I feel ok with the higher price. good alternative for relaxation, but effects are mild.
