I purchased this shave cream as I am concerned about all the chemicals and irritants in many of the canned creams. I have a number of well-known brush creams from Taylor of Old Bond Street, Speick, Cella, etc. I was a bit disappointed with Gaia Shave Creme at first, as it lacks much of a scent. The list of ingredients includes citrus oils, as well as cedarwood, patchouli, and sandalwood -- I was ready for an exotic scent. Not so. Maybe my batch was old, however, there is a very nice subtle scent.
In use, I find this cream to be simply one of the best! It never leaves my face irritated, and laters up to a wonderful thick cream -- with lots of cushion and protection. I sometimes mix this with a Taylor cream, like Eton College or Jerymyn St, to add a bit more scent.
Again, this is top of my list for sensitive shaving creams! Highly recommended.
