I mix this with almond or coconut milk and either fresh fruits or green leafy veggies and blend it up together. If you're used to ultra-sweet, milk-based protein drinks you may think this tastes a bit odd but I find it tastes just fine. I don't add sweetener to it because it's naturally sweet enough. This is the best, natural, high nutrition powder I've found. I love it. I have been using it with a weight-loss program, mostly instead of breakfast. It keeps me going for hours. If you're on a weight loss program, you want to get the nutrients your body needs. This is a great way to do it. I am on my third can and intend to keep on using it. One thing- don't let it sit around for a long time after mixing it as it tends to get a bit gummy (even more so if you add banana to it).

Just mix with water otherwise becomes too thick when mixed with milk. You can add frozen fruit and blend in a mixer but can easily be mixed in a shaker bottle.

I use this as a 6 a.m. breakfast meal replacement. I add a banana and frozen mixed berries to the two scoops of Raw Meal and the 16 oz. of water, then blend. This yields 24 oz. of a very thick, but delicious shake that has increased my energy ten-fold and curbs my appetite into the afternoon. Unhealthy cravings have ceased; my lunches are smaller and a piece of fruit or some raw almonds are enough of a snack to sustain me until dinner. I am not overweight, but I can easily gain, if I'm not careful and this shake has put an end to those ravenous food craving moments. I have prepared this shake without the banana and berries and could barely drink it. It has a fishy taste to it, that remains with you throughout the day. This is a deal-breaker for me. So in order to reap the benefits, it needed to be modified and now I find myself looking forward to drinking it daily. The tub of Raw Meal when prepared as directed and used daily, will last two weeks and for some might prove a little expensive. But when I factor in what I spend on the go, weekly, it justifies the cost. I will continue to repurchase. Increased energy, weight loss and an overall feeling of improved health makes this worth every penny.
