This product did the trick for my very curly/frizzy hair! Since I have very curly and dry hair, I first apply a little Moroccan Oil, then distribute this product through my hair, scrunch and diffuse til it's about 50% dry. Then I use the Fructis Spray Gel and scrunch and diffuse again until my hair is about 90% dry (note to curly girls, you should never diffuse your hair until completely dry). This combo leaves my hair smelling amazing, with no frizz and soft to the touch. I am a certified product junkie and have tried EVERYTHING for curly hair! This is the best and easiest combo I've found!

I didnt think this product would work on africian american completly natural hair. I normally use more expensive hair products for my natural hair type. At 1st when applying product it was a little slippery as I applied to my hair by section and rolled hair pieces into knot rolls until it dried. upon taking rolls down at 1st they were still wet not very much curl pattern, but as I air died my hair and scrunched each section it had very defined curls somewhat better than exensive products. it take a little more work and patience but ending result is great. I love the curl patterns it created to my natural curls. i will definitely use again saved about 25.00 dollars on the product.

I am a long time user of a similar product from a more expensive line. I decided to give this a try because it seemed similar and the price was much lower (I was paying about $20 for the other product). It took a few failed attempts before I got it right, but I am happy with it now. I put it in my towel-dried hair after I shower, blow dry (on low) with a diffuser until it is almost dry and then let it air dry the rest of the way.

It does control frizz and enhances natural curls without looking like I have a lot of product in my hair or looking wet (unless you use too much). It is thinner than I would like and a little sticky, even once it it is on my hair. I'm not crazy about the smell, but it could certainly be worse.

I think I still PREFER my old product, but if I'm budget buying, this product is great.

I was intrigued by this product's claim to be a cream and a gel at the same time, since I usually style my hair with both a cream and a gel to get the best of both worlds. My hair is very fine and I am always looking for products that give me shiny, conditioned, yet voluminous curls. I applied this to soaking wet hair, diffused it until it was 80% dry, then let it air dry. After it dried, my hair was stiff and crunchy, but like with any gel, that was remedied by flipping my head over and scrunching out the crunch. My hair now has sexy, defined, long-lasting waves/curls of multiple sizes... BUT it also feels dried-out, has some weird unsightly fly-aways all around, and is still a bit stiff. On top of that, the fragrance is still VERY STRONG and definitely overpowers my perfume. There are better drugstore products out there!

I used to use a gel/cream twist product that is no longer available, so I tried this as a replacement. This is very slippery going on -- might be good for creating styling slip... but I like to air-dry, so I never tried that and it just felt weird. The fragrance is nice, but very strong. I would have put up with those two things if this had actually defined my curls. To get any definition, I felt like I had to use so much that it weighed my hair down. After a few hours, whether I used a lot or a little, my hair would look puffy and messy with flyaways even though I was inside nearly all day and had not touched my hair. I live in the desert, so I don't have a lot of trouble with humidity... this was just a product that didn't last. When my neck broke out in pimples after a couple of weeks, I threw out this tube. It may work for you, but it didn't work well for me.

Garnier's curl line is hands-down the best. I have used every other brand that you can possibly think of...I've spent upward of 30 bucks on conditioners and styling products...and this out-performs them all. I have extra-curly, frizzy, unruly hair.

This has been my stand-alone styling product for 5+ years (although until recently it used to come in a tub of goopy green stuff...) and it seriously works wonders. Defines every curl, fights the frizz...and just a great great value. I could not recommend this product more. It is my savior.

I have naturally curly hair and I am always trying out new products designed to be used on it. Generally I can't get away with using fewer than 2 styling products (after shampoo/conditioner). This is the one product I can use ALONE and get GREAT results. I do have to say that I don't care to use it when my hair gets around shoulder length, but I have been wearing it short (around my ears) for a while now and this is my go-to product.
