I had been using Clairol Hydrience #36 (Suntan) for years, but it's been getting more difficult to find it in stores, so I decided to give Garnier Nutrisse a try. I'm sure glad I did -- it's wonderful! Easy to apply, didn't drip, had a pleasant smell, and left my hair soft and silky, in better condition than Hydrience ever did. The color, Brown Sugar #63 is identical to Hydrience #36. I used it on my roots, and it blended in perfectly. Also did a great job of covering greys.

This color is close to my natural, but it gives me great red accents. I get compliments daily, and people are surprised when I say I color. I use John Freida red glaze in addition for an extra boost. I ighly recommend it for anyone wanting something red and natural (again..it is very close to my natural tho...)

I wear a TWA (teeny, weeny afro) and I need to color my hair after every haircut as I'm greying at the temples and along my forehead. I tried l'oreal Ferria but it splattered too much even though the color was perfect. This brand goes on easy with no splatter and coveres the grey perfectly. And, it's less expensive.

After reading the reviews describing the lovely reddish tone this product left on other purchasers' hair, I decided I'd like to try Brown Sugar instead of my usual light reddish brown from another popular brand.

I LOVE this! It is warmer than the box indicates, which might not be a plus for someone who is looking for a blondish brown, but for me it is perfect. The application is less messy than my old go-to, the grape seed oil makes the processing less stinky, and the avocado conditioner works wonders. I've heard that avocado oil is one of a handful of oils that can truly penetrate the hair shaft to condition it, so maybe that's why it works so well.

Bottom line, I think I've found my hg for regular at-home color, and I'd recommend it to anyone else who is currently using light reddish brown shades.

This is the best!! I read the reviews on here and gave it a try to save money. THe last time the guy colored my hair I was thinking that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to do this so why not give it a try? I was definitely PLEASED. Not only with the color, but my hair never felt so good and was never so shiny as after I used this product!! I have very curly, thick hair and after I blowed it dry, it was beautiful!! I think I got it on sale for [$], so I saved about $60 from the last time someone colored it for me. It cover the grey too! Try this stuff...you will not be sorry!

Covers Grays for about 5 weeks, and is a gorgeous color. I am a dark brown naturally, and this gives me auburn highlights and shine. The gray is completely covered, and my hair does not feel "colored" or "processed". It is soft. I have even highlighted over this color without problem. There is no need to go to a salon, when you can do it yourself with a quality product at home

I am thrilled with this product. Let me tell you this, for years I have been paying a fortune at the salon just to keep my grey hair covered. I would go every five to six weeks, spending fifty dollars (not including tip). Well now that I am jobless at the moment, I decided to give at home hair coloring a shot. Boy, am I happy I did. This is a great color, I have naturally dark brown hair, this lightened it a little and gave it some auburn color. My hair is softer than before I colored, and it covered 100% of my greys. I highly recommend this product. I use all Garnier products from their shampoos to styling products. This is coming from a woman that was a salon product snob. If you are hesitant about coloring at home, don't be. Call the number on the box and talk to a trained consultant that will suggest a great color for you. They are very knowledgable and very pleasant. My days of spending a fortune at the salon are over! Thank you Garnier!
