Warnings

Hair color can cause an allergic reaction which in certain rare cases can be severe. Therefore, you must follow these precautions:

Do not use if:
- you have already had a reaction to a hair color product
- you have a sensitive, itchy or damaged scalp
If you have a tattoo, the risks of an allergic reaction may be increased.
Perform a skin allergy test 48 hours before each use of this product (see insert). Remember to buy your product 2 days ahead of time.
Avoid contact of this product with eyes and skin
If product gets into eyes, rinse immediately
Wear gloves provided in kit
Thoroughly rinse hair after application
Do not use over compound henna or progressive color
Wait at least 14 days after bleaching, relaxing or perming before coloring
Keep out of the reach of children. Do not apply on children.
Do not apply the foam directly on the hair: dispense in the palm of your gloved hand and then spread on the hair using your fingers or hand
Do not point the bottle towards the face
Make sure the product foams before spreading on the hair. If the product is liquid when dispensed from the pump bottle, do not apply on the hair, it can drip into the eyes.
It is necessary to lather product on the hair, to avoid any risk of dripping
After applying and during the processing time, check to make sure the product is not dripping. If it does drip, massage the hair again to re-lather the product

This product contains ingredients which may cause skin irritation on certain individuals and a preliminary test according to accompanying directions should first be made. This product must not be used for dyeing the eyelashes or eyebrows; to do so may cause blindness.

This product is so easy to use. Just pour everything on the dispenser,shake and pump away. The foam color is not messy, unlike conventional hair color mixes. It doesn't drip! I live in the tropics, so even in an air-conditioned room, the heat can make hair color formulae very drippy. This foam formula didn't start to drip until it was actually time to wash it off.

I put some baby oil on my ears and hair outline, and the dye didn't stain my skin at all. With other brands, I normally need to put ear covers and douse the outline with a lot of oil, and then still do a lot of cleanup on my skin after. Not with this one; it is a no-mess hair color.

The only bad point is that it dried my hair a bit. Not as bad as Revlon Hair color formulae, or other harsh formula. Barely any hair fall. Two days after colouring my hair, I simply gave my hair a hot oil treatment, and it began to bounce back. Actually, it is always a good idea to re-nourish your hair after coloring. For this reason, this product still gets 4 stars. it would get 5 stars if they found a way to make a formula that conditions hair very well right after colouring.

I mixed half and half of 2 shades of #5 (ash and N), and got a natural looking, non-brassy ash brown. I love it!

One last thing. While the price isn't too much, it would do well with a bit more of a discount (like $2.50 cheaper per box). If the price point were slightly lower, I'd definitely grab this over other brands all the time.

I love this foam hair color. I'm not sure what the other reviewer was doing wrong, but I had no trouble at all. I parted my hair and squirted the foam down the part line for root touch up. Then, I patted it down and it spread evenly and fluidly penetrating really well. My guess is that the first reviewer just applied it and didn't pat it into the part and left the foam sitting there. I touched up my roots in a third of the time of using the bottle with the tip of their regular cream hair color. I left it on 25 instead of 20 for my roots for stubborn gray, and worked the rest through by hair by squirting it into my palm and patting it in all over. Then it became very creamy and I message it like a conditioner. I left it on another 5 minutes to freshen the ends, and washed it out with my own Fekkai shampoo and conditioner. My hair feels very healthy and silky with lots of shine. I normally use 5 N, and got the same for this products. The color is spot on. It didn't completely cover the gray in one trouble area I have underneath the side of my head, but it doesn't show there. Next time, I will leave it on the roots an additional 5 and see how it works then. Everywhere else, it covered beautifully. I have hair past my shoulder and it is thick and wavy. One box was more than enough. It has a more fluid feel, so it spreads very well. It didn't drip at all using my method. I used to get my hair colored at the salon for about 15 years. Then I switched to Fekkai, but they discontinued my color. So, I tried several brands and found Garnier to be the best. My hair is a bit dry, and Garnier makes it feel healthy and luxurious. I can't believe I colored my hair as fast as I did with this product. Now, if it keeps the gray at bay until I re-color in 3-4 weeks, I'll be thrilled. Excellent product with great results. Just as good as salon color or Fekkai. Love it!

I was not happy with the foam aspect of this product. I guess I thought it would penetrate the hair when applied which it did not seem to. It kind of laid on the hair. I found myself reapplying more and more of the product. Whereas it did not drip, it still felt like I needed to keep putting more on. I really like the regular product made by this company more and will go back to it.
