I used this product faithfully, twice daily, for over 8 weeks and did not notice any improvement in my dark spots. I was already a diligent sunscreen user, and despite using the Dark Spot Corrector as per its instructions, a few of my spots actually seemed to darken. Perhaps it is effective on certain skin tones (I am relatively fair), but I was completely disappointed.

I can't determine if this product worked for me or not. I only used this on areas with acne scars. They faded..after a month maybe? I don't know if it just healed on its own or with the use of this product, but I'm going to assume it's both..I can't provide a complete review for this product, but while using this, I noticed it's a little greasy. And the smell..it's too perfumey. Yuck.

Really works! My skin tone started evening out in about a week in a half (using it at morning and at night). I'm almost out of my first tube, but I'll be buying again.

I love this product except for two things: It does not work well under makeup/foundation because it is sticky and greasy. The other reason is; even though the cream goes on white, by the end of the day, you will have what appears to be a thin layer of tan skin peeling off your face. I'm not sure if it is skin, or the lotion itself. If it is a layer of skin, great, because it would be like a chemical peel. I don't think it is actually peeling my skin, however, the texture of my skin has greatly improved. I wish I could find out how exactly this product works. I've been to expensive dermatologists who have prescribed expensive creams containing hydroquinone. None of those creams worked even a little bit! I love this Garnier product! I will continue to use it, but it will have to be only on days when I don't need to leave the house or wear any makeup.

Used one tube of this product, ran out and used another product for a week and I couldn't handle the pimple breakouts and immediately went to the store and bought another tube. I have found the product for my face that I will use for a long time.

I bought this product because after years of being on the pill, having two kids and spending many hours in the sun, I had dark spots (melasma) on both sides of my face. My first tube is almost gone, and while the dark spots are not gone, they are faded. My skin also feels smoother. I'm going to buy this again and see if my skin continues to improve.
