Love this hair color Have been using this Garnier Olia for a year or so now. I so prefer it over the hair dyes that have ammonia in it. They made my scalp burn and smelled awful. This is so gentle.

My 73 year old mom uses this product to cover her coarse hair grays and it WORKS so well and looks so natural. She loves it!

Did not cover gray! Not even close. Dried my hair out horribly as well. I'm very dissapointed.

Okay, I would like to know if only I have this problem. I have light auburn hair and ash brown natural roots and trying to keep my hair safe I got this instead of my normal. I got the medium ash brown and it literally did NOTHING. If anything it lightened it!!! I had a crazy bad experience!
Is this only me? Did I only have this problem? The hair dye did absolutely nothing.

The oil mixture went on easily and did not drip. Because I have long hair, and do the roots myself, I always had a hard time with typical dyes dripping or smearing onto my face. Which would create many stains. Oila is actually a little thicker, and the oil helps the color stick to the hair. It smells good too. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star is because I have a lot of gray's and the coverage on them is very good, and not great.

Comments about Garnier Olia Oil Powered Permanent Haircolor, 4.0 Dark Brown, 1 ea:

I've been coloring my hair at home for decades and generally use Feria reds. I wanted to try something different and the advertising made this sound more moisturizing.

I don't care for the product packaging--instead of having a liquid in one container and then you add the second, you have two bottles you have to pour into one empty bottle--why produce more garbage than necessary? Totally pointless.

The solution was kind of runny and drippy and had to be cleaned up immediately to prevent staining. The color was nice and intense for the first week (I used 6.6 Intense Light Auburn, I believe)...but then faded the same as other brands.

Biggest complaint is that it's been three weeks and it's still leaving an orange tint on my white towels.

I definitely won't purchase it again!
