I experienced some leaks at first and contacted g dipers using the phone # on the package. An actual person answered the phone and she was very helpful. I followed her instructions and now rarely have leaks. There is a slight learning curve, but stick with them!! They require about 10% more work than a disposable but I beleive the Earth and our children are worth a little extra work!! VS Most Liked Negative Review I had great expectations ... They did not keep my baby's skin dry, the surface of the insert stays very damp and it tends to get bunched up and uncomfortable. My baby developed a red, bumpy rash after one day's use! You'd have to change the insert every hour to keep it dry and comfortable. The diaper as a whole is very big and it makes it hard for my baby to move around and some of her pants don't fit over it. Also she's left with a lot of red marks around the waist. I can tell she's uncomfortable in it. It's great that the environment is prioritized with this product, but it doesn't do much good when it's this user-unfriendly. I've gone back to seventh generation; they are super absorbent, comfortable and slim. And a lot less expensive. Comments about gDiapers Flushable Diapers Refills, Medium/Large, 32 ea,: When I became pregnant with my first child (now 3) I researched eco-friendly diapering options. I knew that I did not want to add more bulk to the already over-burdened landfills, and lacking a washer/dryer in my apartment, I knew that cloth might not be the best option for me (though I do use cloth when I know I'll have time to handwash them). G-diapers sounded promising, and I tried them and loved them for both of my children. I love being able to flush the inserts and know that I'm not responsible for throwing away bulky disposable diapers, which take close to an eternity to decompose. I love the little g-pants - my 8-month-old has been living in them this summer! And I love that the pants can be used with cloth inserts as well. While we're home I use the pants and the insert without the plastic liner, and when we're out I snap the plastic liner in place. Comments about gDiapers Flushable Diapers Refills, Medium/Large, 32 ea,: I like that with gDiapers I can use the cloth inserts OR the disposable inserts. These have worked great since I switched over from a diaper service. They fit WAY better. When my daughter was smaller, I'd just put the diaper on like a normal diaper because she wouldn't undo the velcro but as soon as she was 9 months and walking, she was trying undiaper herself and would leave "presents" on the floor! So now I put the gDiapers on properly with the g in the back and she can't get to the tabs. And even as she's gotten a little older and more active, the diapers have done well as far as few leaks. I've found that I had more leaks with regular disposables. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about gDiapers Flushable Diapers Refills, Medium/Large, 32 ea,: We were really concerned with our second child about finding something that was environmentally friendly and convenient to use. G Diapers have been a wonderful solution! We love that we're not putting diapers into a landfill. It took a little while to get used to using them.. but now we're pros and have been using them for over a year! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about gDiapers Flushable Diapers Refills, Medium/Large, 32 ea,: Love this diaper system. All human waste should go into the sewer system. Ingenuis idea, and now with the cloth inserts! Wow! Been using these for 15 months and wouldn't do the disposable thing again! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Cons Best Uses Comments about gDiapers Flushable Diapers Refills, Medium/Large, 32 ea,: These are great. Wish I'd found them sooner. My son is 3 years old and we're using pull-ups for daytime at this point and use the gDiapers at night. We've been using 11/2 as the insert suggests for boys or heavy wetters. Since my sons last drink is usually right before bed he definitely wets overnight. What I don't get is why people think they cost so much more. Using Drugstore.com prices I did some comparisons - Pampers (31 diapers @ 12.99 = .42 per diaper), gDiapers (32 diapers @ [$]). Over the course of the day it's a few cents more, but you're also not using up a diaper genie insert or whatever method you use to hold the other diapers. I throw the cotton covers in with my normal wash so there's no extra effort to keep them clean.Overall I think they're a great value and much better for the environment. Comments about gDiapers Flushable Diapers Refills, Medium/Large, 32 ea,: I love the Gdiapers but at twice the cost, we've gone to using primarily cloth diapers and using Gdiapers with a cloth doubler at night. If these were more competitively priced, I think more people would use them and it would be a lot better on the environment. Compared to cloth diapers, these are definitely better for clean up of messy breastfed baby poo. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about gDiapers Flushable Diapers Refills, Medium/Large, 32 ea,: I love these. Been using gdiapers since son was 1 year (now almost 2) and still wearing size med. Hesitated when I bought them since his weight was close to lg (bought 1 pack each), but they are pretty adjustable. Inserts are pricey so we use them when out and about and use a flannel insert or flat-fold diaper instead (use the paper roll for cloth diapers too to make clean up easier with the cloth). You do have to change them more then disposable though-even with their inserts, and I don't use overnight. Well worth it to be able to flush the stinkies and better for environment. We now use outer layer with snap in liner over over our big boy underpants. Not perfect. but keeps the couch dry. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about gDiapers Flushable Diapers Refills, Medium/Large, 32 ea,: This is not the diaper that you leave on your child forever. It's for parents who want to be eco-conscious (whether by taking it apart and flushing it down the toilet, discarding it as biodegradable garbage, or composting it). As long as you change it frequently (like every 2-4hours depending on amount of pee) the baby does fine. Overnight, sometimes it gets soaked though. We like it. It's easy to use. You basically just stuff the disposible part in the cover. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (2 of 2 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful?
