Indications
Relieves dryness of the eye.
Temporarily relieves discomfort due to minor irritations of the eye or from exposure to wind or sun.
As a protectant against further irritation.
Warnings
When using this product do not touch tip of container to any surface. Replace cap after using. Do not use if gel changes color or becomes cloudy.
Stop use and ask a doctor if you experience any of the following:
Eye pain
Changes in vision
Continued redness or irritation of the eye
Condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours
Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

My 93 year old mother had surgery for her cataracts years ago. Ever since she's complained of dry eyes. I've tried a lot of brands of eye drops/lubricants to help her and this she said "is the only one that works."
I'm a contact lens wearer myself however now that I'm in my late 40s I have dry eyes too. I haven't worn my contacts for any length of time for more than a year. Now I am able to wear my lenses all day again with only one application of the gel in the am. This product is amazing!

It probably feels great, but I can never get it into my eyes! This product was recommended to me by my optometrist, as I have very dry eyes. I wasn't happy about the price but figured that if it worked, it would be worth it. The problem is, most of this tube so far has been wasted: it's ended up everywhere on my face _except_ in my eyes. I apologize if this sounds like a stupid complaint, but I just don't see how this product will work for a lot of people. I've worn contact lenses for more than twenty-five years; I'm extremely comfortable with putting drops, fingers, lenses, suction cups, you name it, on my eyes, without flinching, but I can't seem to get this stuff in. It invariably lands on my eyelashes and gets blinked right away, leaving a cool, soothing, slimy spot on my face, not on my eyeball. I've had no problem with the GenTeal Moderate Dry Eye Relief drops.

It came in a tube. Easy application if pulled down on lower eye lid to create a pocket and instilled the gel along the lower lid. This relieve my dry eyes (plucked oil glands/ducts) temporarily, an hour or so. I dislike how it kept my vision blurry for 5-10mins, not ideal before leaving the house. It works, but not well.

I use a CPAP machine when I sleep, and sometimes the air flow leaks into partially open eyes. This product protects the eyes by providing moisture. I also have chronic dry eyes from medications; by using this product when I sleep, my vision has returned to normal.

This soothes irritated, dry eyes and can be used in daytime. Take a few minutes for blurriness to go away, but doesn't bother me for the relief I get. Have used for about a year after Optomologist recommended.

I use a computer on a daily basis and that contributes to my dry eyes. It is a gel and have to wait a minute or two to see clearly which is not a problem, but would not use if I were to get into my car right away. Helps my eyes and I feel more comfortable. Gel removes the redness which makes my eyes feels scratchy when I blink. So overall I am pleased with this product. Performs as advertised.

I have chronic dry eyes that tear constantly because of the over-production of the wrong tears to compensate for the dryness. I have tried tearduct plugs and every drop on the market, including ointment used at bedtime. This is the only drop that has alleviated the excess tearing. The drops are easy to use and keep my eyes comfortable for several hours before having to reapply. I highly recommend this product.

I got this on the recommendation of my eye doctor for overnight relief. I thought I wouldn't use it because I hate all the ointments that I've tried. This gives overnight relief (I can actually open my eyes without first reaching for eye drops)and doesn't leave the oily mess that the ointments do. Any residue rinses off easily and doesn't interfer with my morning application of eye makeup. It IS hard to put in but the lady who advised pulling down the lower lid and applying was absolutely right.
