Product is great in all configurations. It lasts about what I would expect for such a sharp blade. The cost is a bit high compared to local stores in California and a larger number included in each purchase might help this. I usually buy 20 blade sets each time.

To get maximum use from this overpriced razor-
1-Dry well after use- blow all water out of unit
2-Do NOT keep in bathroom- high humidity will dull edge in a short time.
3-Wet face at least 2 minutes. Wet face, then brush teeth for 2 minutes. Rewet beard, low soap and then shave. A less wet beard has the shear strength of pure copper of same diameter. Blade should last many more shaves and save much $$ with a bit of care. I am a Metallurgist.
