I really like the handle on this razor. I was previously using the Schick Hydro 5 razor and it is very slippery compared to this razor. The handle design is nice. The blades are similar to the Mach 3 so nothing too exciting there. But if you like those then you'll love this razor.

I have used Gillette Razors for a little over 30 years, started shaving with Gillette Atra, and I'm now in my mid 40's. While the Fusion Pro Glide is excellent, a 5 blade razor is not something I can shave with on a daily basis, and I do shave with the grain and have good technique. I get a close shave but still experience razor burn. Since I only shave 3 times per week, if I were to begin shaving daily again, I would need to go back to the Mach3 razor, or even possibly the old Gillette Sensor Excel Twin Blade for a close shave without razor burn. Again, just my thoughts...

Razors have come a long way....this is a nice sturdy razor that is surprisingly light....the more I used it the better I liked it. It is more bulky than the razor I had been using but I've gotten use to it. It provides a nice close shave and it looks more rich in the shower....the venus type razors get dirty looking and can hold soap scum....this looks more elegant....so I would recommend it. First I would like to say the packaging is wonderful. Less plastic, easy to open and little to throw away. The razor comes with a storage stand which is nice and allows you to clip the cartridge container to it. - Points for that.

I am a long time Mach 3 user and found this to be as good a product. The five blade cut very nicely and, as you would expect, late day stubble is noticeably shorter. It does feel smoother on the face as it cuts which is nice.

I get about the same length between cartridges on this as with my Mach 3. You will know when, at the end you do start to notice 'tugging'. Less irritation on cologne application.

I had no idea until I read the product description on the site it has a single blade trimmer. Seems useless as I had no issues with the blade as it is.

The no clog claim is just that - a claim. It clogs but so does my Mach 3. After a few strokes I vigorously swish it in the sink.

Overall a pretty good blade shaver.

I've stayed away from going past the triple blade until now. I tried a similiar 5 blade product a few years ago when they first came out and cut my jaw and neck to shreds. That did not happen with this razor. Gillette got it right and the extra blades really do help get all the hair on the first run, cutting back on blade passes that can cause irritation. The gel strip is very helpful. Highly recommend
