I usually go with the normal Gillette Mach 3 cartridges for myself and husband but this last time, I bought Mach 3 Turbo. Unfortunately, I think these razor blades are made to go dull 30% faster, hence the title of my review. At first, I thought it was just me, but as my husband and I are wading through the 8 pack of blades, I asked him if he thought they go dull quickly and he agreed that we seem to be going through these blades much faster than normal. He also felt that they shave they give is not different than the Mach 3. I think that the regular Mach 3 are a better value and give a closer shave. It seems with these blades that the lubricant strip wears out after 2 or 3 shaves and the blade gets really dull after about 5 shaves (and remember, I'm a female with regular leg hair--not burlyman leg hair). Razor burn occurs after the 1st shave. I ended up throwing away 4 blades because they would not stay on the handle. I was fortunate to be able to return the unopened packages or I would have wasted twice the amount of money. [...]Makes me question all the other products offered by [...].

However this new production was completely unacceptable. The new colorful packaging includes, with each set of blades, a picture reminding you to change blades when the Aloe strip loses color. However, not only did the strip lose it's color faster, but the blades themselves dulled significantly faster. Obviously, this would represent a significant increase in cost to the consumer since you would have to change blades much more often. No thanks! Clearly, it's time for me to move on to another razor/blade - and that will definitely NOT be another Gillette! Pros

I've purchased just the Mach 3 - but he refuses to use anything but the Mach 3 Turbo - he says the blade cuts closer and he doesn't have to shave as often. I started using them to shave my legs and I have to agree.
