Great Razor, just can't find it anywhere. They sell the blades, but no one sells the razors. I guess they want you to upgrade to more expensive blades.

Only comes with one triple blade and two twin blades.
triple blade works nice no nicks or cuts. this is my second sensor razer, had the other for over ten years.. guess it was time for a new one.

2 blade razor is perfect. More than 2 blades is a gimmick and makes shaving more difficult. I've tried all of them!

I've been using Gillette products for as long as I've been shaving and have followed the technology all the way up to Mach 3, but now I've gone back! In my opinion, the head angle on the Sensor (as well as that of the Mach II and Atra) is far superior to that of the Mach 3 and later razors. The accomodation of more blades seems to have lessened the razor's precision when it comes to getting into tight areas such as under the nose. In my case anyway, more isn't always better! An additional note concerning the difference in blades: As one reviewer stated, the blade in the handle is far superior to the other 2 in the package. After writing a long winded message to Gillette asking about this I put on my other galsses and "Voila"! The blade in the handle is a Sensor 3 while the other blades are regular Sensor (2) blades. Thanks to that comment, I now know to buy Sensor 3 blades as replacements! 3 blades are fine, it's the head angle that matters!

Even though the excel has 3 blades it shaves no where near as effeciantly as the Mach 3. I was in a pinch to get a 3 blade refill anf thought 3 is 3 but was I wrong.

I have used this brand of razor for years. These days it seems as if the razor manufacturers follow the saying "the more the better" and keep adding blades to their razors. Really who needs more than two. I have looked for a long time to find this brand and model because mine is older than I can remember. I am glad to find drugstore.com.

I realize this razor is intended for men, however I am a female. The handle shape allows me to get a close smooth shave on my legs, under arms, and bikini area. The twin blades are a better value, there is no need for 3-5 blades on a razor head (how many layers of skin do people have?)This razor comes with 2 extra refills.
