Those bigger razors shave worse than this 2 bladed style. The bigger ones are harder to get into tight areas and they don't shave the contours of the face a well. Stick with the 2 blades and be happy. These companies better realize this. I think the marketing guys were just trying to justify their jobs with the bigger (more blades) razors. Comments about Gillette Sensor Excel, Razor for Men, 1 ea: I've been using Gillette products for as long as I've been shaving and have followed the technology all the way up to Mach 3, but now I've gone back! In my opinion, the head angle on the Sensor (as well as that of the Mach II and Atra) is far superior to that of the Mach 3 and later razors. The accomodation of more blades seems to have lessened the razor's precision when it comes to getting into tight areas such as under the nose. In my case anyway, more isn't always better! An additional note concerning the difference in blades: As one reviewer stated, the blade in the handle is far superior to the other 2 in the package. After writing a long winded message to Gillette asking about this I put on my other galsses and "Voila"! The blade in the handle is a Sensor 3 while the other blades are regular Sensor (2) blades. Thanks to that comment, I now know to buy Sensor 3 blades as replacements! 3 blades are fine, it's the head angle that matters!

These days it seems as if the razor manufacturers follow the saying "the more the better" and keep adding blades to their razors. Really who needs more than two. I have looked for a long time to find this brand and model because mine is older than I can remember. I am glad to find drugstore.com.

The handle shape allows me to get a close smooth shave on my legs, under arms, and bikini area. The twin blades are a better value, there is no need for 3-5 blades on a razor head (how many layers of skin do people have?)This razor comes with 2 extra refills.
