Gillette makes very good mid-range priced products, but why they charge so much for these blades is beyond me (then again, this same lack of understanding applies to everything from chewing gum to sneakers). Those that give a shave up to my standards do so only for a few shaves then are dull. This is another razor blade company ripoff. Get a Wahl electric and buy razors at [...] You'll have at least as good a chance of a good shave from at least a few from the cheap bag of razors and an equal proportion of those will function for many shaves. The 4 & 5 blade models shave a bit closer, but are just too large to do anything but shave in a straight line. The Excel is reasonably priced compared to the newest blades. Only negative is that I sometimes don't get a full weeks worth of shaves from one blade.

Comments about Gillette Sensor Excel, Refill Cartridges, 10 ea: I've used this series for nearly 15 years and it's the only blade I'll use. 3 blades is overkill and 4 is ludicrous. More blades = more cuts. When I visit retail stores I see loads of Fusion and Mach 3s and only one arm of Sensor Excel. The prices here are miles better than the stores. Smooth, easy to use, and I get a clean shave with almost no nicks or cuts. I have a double-whammy against me as I have sensitive skin and coarse hair and once or twice I've tried other brands; this is the one I keep coming back to.

Comments about Gillette Sensor Excel, Refill Cartridges, 10 ea: I have used these ever since 1990. Stopped seeing them in the stores, so switched to the new Gillette Fusion razor. Not happy with that. Found these on Drugstore.com. I am really happy. This razor is quick to shave. Smooth and nick free. Easy to get around the nose area. Best razor ever. For someone new to shaving, it is a great introduction to shaving. I will never go back as long as they sell it here.

Drugstore.com has the most reasonable price I have seen. [...] I will be using this site regularly from now on, glad I found it.
