This is a fantastic razor. I love that if i am in a hurry i don't need to use shave cream. Haven't cut myself at all.

I was only able to shave every 3 or 4 days before I used this razor. I would have razor rash BAD. Not anymore. Every other day and I am good!

this razor is quite expensive given how ineffective it is. the first shave with a new blade is OK -- the product gives a relatively smooth shave (although not noticeably better than other razors i've used). however, the moisturizing bars dissolve so quickly that, by the second or third use, you would really need a shaving cream to be comfortable. so, if the biggest benefit of this razor is that it can be used without a shaving cream, it fails. i'd rather buy a less expensive razor (like schick hydro silk) and use shaving cream than pay more for a razor that requires more frequent blade changes.

I love this razor and how smooth it leaves my legs without nicks and cuts. But it's useless after about 3 or 4 shaves, the moisturizing strips completely dissolve. I had to buy the Oil of Olay shave gel to get more use of out each razor, so I might as well save money and buy the less expensive razor and the shave gel. Too pricey not to last!!!

I love the Venus razors and blades so was excited to give this one a try. This one was disappointment.

It says it creates a light lather and you don't need shaving cream. The result was in some strokes of the leg it was fine and the next would be like dry shaving. I ended up with razor burn on my lower legs.

I used it the next time with shaving gel and it was acceptable but certainly not worth paying extra for. I'll be going back to my regular Venus blades.

I liked the razor but because of the price I would save it for travel.....as I have always used liquid soap and so I don't need the extra cost associated with the moisture bars. I do appreicate that all venus cartridges fit all the venus razors as I have a couple different razors.

This is a great shaver. I really enjoy not having to use shaving cream. You get a close shave and no nics the one thing that I didn't like was how quick the Olay strips were used up. I think that the shaver last longer than the moisture strips. I would use again.

I was so skeptical! I go through a ton of shaving gel when I shave my legs. I didn't believe you could shave them without any additional products. But it really works. A smooth shave with no shave cream or gel. Kind of amazing!

Absolutely loved this razor. It is even better than the regular Venus shave gel bar razors. Incredibly moisturizing, no need to use a shaving cream. Also, the cartridges fit with my older Venus handles as well. Super convenient for those crazy days...pretty much Monday through Friday!
