I really like the gel bars above and below the blades. You don't have to use shaving cream, but I still use a little bit of body wash just to keep it smooth. The gel bars get a bit gooey, but the benefit of them is super smooth legs, moisurized legs with little irritation. I think the blades stay sharp longer than the gel bars remain usable, whish is unfortunate.

Only negative is that, while the shave is very close and smooth, I tend to nick myself more severely with this razor. It could just be my poor shaving skills, but this razor feels so smooth while you're using it that I sometimes forget to be extra careful around ankles and knees.

I started using Venus Breeze when it was first launched and haven't used anything else since. I think it's a great product!

I love Venus Breeze! It's super convenient to not have to buy shaving gel, and the gel bars last a decent amount of time -- you wouldn't want them to last much longer because the blade is going to get dull anyway. The only problem I have with these is the price. I really wish they were less expensive. But on drugstore.com, it's the cheapest price I have found.

It's so nice to not have to worry about shaving cream. I just use my body wash and puff then fast as a jet engine, shaving is done!

I love this razor! It's provides a smooth, non-irratating shave. The bars on this razor create a super slick shaving surface that makes it almost impossible to cut or nick yourself. The only drawback is that you do not want to leave it in the shower. You need to shake off the excess water and lightly pat it on your towel, and leave it out to dry. If you leave it moist, the bars swell up and get super gooey and you end up using it up prematurely and finally the moisture strips just fall off. But this is OK. It's such a great razor it's worth the extra step to make it last longer!

This is the best razor I have ever used - nearly everything irritates my skin, so I have to wax or use depilatories; I have used my first venus breeze about 4 times on my legs and daily on my underarms and it is still working great with no nicks at all so far - this is a miracle!

I love this razor for regular in-shower shaving. No other soap/shaving cream needed and I get a good close shave without nicks or irritation. Gel bars don't last as long as the sharpness of the razor, however, and I feel a little guilty about the cost of replacement cartidges.

Was very easy to use, used without shaving gels or soap. Found out that I have to shave everyday with this product whereas with my other brand I could wait 3 days before needing to shave.
