The best razor I have ever used, this series has just continued to improve. Started using the original Venus a few years ago, just love this one. A little pricy but last longer that the 4 blade.

I agree with some of the other reviews... The head of the razor is way to big and does not shave closely at all.. especially on underarms and bikini area. I also noticed that when i would shave my legs it still felt like stubble. I went back to my more cheeper brands and they work much much better.

I have been a faithful Schick Quattro for woman user but had a coupon for the Venus Embrace. I thought 5 blades would be better than 4 but I shaved at night and had stubble the next morning. I thought maybe I used too light a touch but it happened again. I'm going back to my old brand.

Compare this to a daily disposblae razor and there isno comparison. Smooth shave in shower and you dont even need shaving cream on your legs.

I've used different Venus products for years. This is the worst! I had to go over areas twice, and the stubble actually grew back twice as quickly as with their standard blade! It is so wide and bulky that I was unable to get into curvy areas (like under my arms and, ahem, other areas this is specifically recommended for use). I would have returned it but had thrown out the box!

The only good thing I can say about it is this: I tried an older razor model (can't remember the name) a while back with the moisture strips and it was gross - very gooey. This one is not gooey, but I still wouldn't want to use it without shaving cream.

I tried this razor since there was a coupon and since it is made for women. I have unusually sensitive skin and shaving my underarms is always painful and I always end up with razor burn of some amount regardless of what I do pre and post shave. Overall this razor did a good job, but I will stick to the Fusion that is made for guys because it provides a closer, longer lasting shave with less irritation. I would think for a person with no sensitivity or razor burn issues that this would probably be a great razor, but the Fusion really does a much better job. There is a review from a person stating that she scared her underarms with this razor, but it is beyond me how someone could have cut their underarms up to such an extent that scaring was the result with this razor unless it was used like a carrot peeler.
