I use Paul Mitchell flexible styling foam and this Giovanni 50/50 removes that and prevents any build up. I then use L'Oreal Hair repare' shampoo to detangle without weighing my hair down(which is very fine)as conditioners do. I'm actually happy that Pantene discontinued the clarifying shampoo, because Giovanni's is much better since it has a hydrating effect on my hair, that the Pantene didn't do. Try it, you'll love it!

love this!!! My hairdresser has been trying to get me to try the shampoo/conditioner forever!!! Hair is softer than I could imagine...... smells great (like fruit-loops or cream-sickle with a touch of citrus)Everyone keeps telling me how great it smells. i've tried LOTS of shampoos out there (mostly natural or organic) and this is by far the best. i have oily hair and used to buy giovanni tea tree shampoo or aveda rosemary mint... but when i tried this one, it was even better for oily hair than the tea tree one! it cleans the hair thoroughly and does not feel too dry... and it actually IMPROVED my oily scalp so my hair became LESS oily after 2 weeks of use. i LOVE IT and would highly recommend to all hair types.

I read a lot of reviews before buying this shampoo and am happy with my decision to purchase. So far I have been very pleased with the product. Cleans well without stripping. I am VERY happy about the fact that it has no SLS. I have very straight hair that is minimally processed. What this means is that I am a bit obsessive about the condition and health of my hair because that is the thing that I have going for it. It is a very simple cut and I don't do much to it, but I do want it to look healthy and shiny. This shampoo is really doing the trick. I combine it with a more expensive Aveda conditioner (if I spend alot of money on product I will spend it on conditioner) but this, to me, is a much better choice than the Aveda shampoos.

I have tried every shampoo throughout the years and had severe problems with my scalp cracking and bleeding. My aunt told me to try a shampoo without the laureth and laurel sulfates. I stumbled upon this one, decided to try it and have used it exclusively the last couple of years. I have very thick hair that is at times oily. It lathers up so well and I haven't had one single problem with my scalp since using it!

Since using other products (cheap & expensive) they use to make my hair oily or too dry and use to make my hair fall off a lot. This is hands down the best hair care line I've ever used. 50:50 is my favorite because it's for dry hair but it still cleans it enough to not leave any residue. I've been using it for more than six months and everytime I use it, it's like the first time. It's frizz free, shiny, managable, has volume and it saved my hair from falling so much in the shower. I will never buy anything else. Love it love it!

this line is amazing! i recommend it to any and everyone. i have very coarse hair and ti works wonders with strippin my hair. i love their shampoos and conditioners

This shampoo left my hair a tangled, knotted mess. I knew I was in trouble when after rinsing it out my hair felt like straw and it was tangled and knotted to boot! But I hoped Giovanni 50:50 conditioner would fix the crisis. Ah, well it didn't and I ended up having to comb out so much of my hair that after finishing and gathering up all the knots I almost cried in disbelief. Maybe it was my type of hair or maybe this product just sucks. Be careful with this shampoo.....

While this is one of few shampoos that does not strip my hair (no "squeaky clean" feel when I rinse out), the fragrance is absolutely awful. It literally gives me headaches so I can't even reappropriate the shampoo as a body wash, which I normally do when I discover the shampoo is not meeting my hair or scalp needs.

This is another great natural shampoo that doesn't have all those horrible chemicals in it that damages the hair and destroys hair growth.
