I wash my hair every other day, and when I get out of the shower I use this and Giovanni Hair Styling Foam. My kinky/curly hair has never been happier! It is actually curly, and I can run my finger through my hair and not create mega frizz. Love this brand--I will never have to "try" anything new again. I have had many bad experiences with products and brands, and some of those I spent waaaayyy too much money on. And this stuff doesn't smell at all--no fragrance that I can detect.

This is a good, environmentally-responsible brand, but the leave-in conditioner is not a good replacement for the ones I like but can't get anymore (Aveda Elixir is one). I just don't find that it adds any shine or manageability. I used it on damp hair that I like to let air-dry.

I am naturalnista meaning I am an African-American woman with natural hair. My hair is void any of chemicals/products like relaxesr used for straightening hair. I decided to try this product because it has been the rave on many of the natural hair blogs and youtube videos I frequent. Although, I hear they changed the mixture of the conditioner...I love it!!! This product has become a staple of my hair routine.

I do not have any problems with residue, but you can't use too much! A little goes a long way. I use a dry scalp shampoo + conditioner and there isn't enough conditioning to tame the static in this cold, dry climate. I use a tiny amount (dime size or less and I have a ton of hair!) and the static stays away all day and my hair is soft and manageable. I wold certainly recommend this product.

This product is fantastic for those days when you don't want to load up on hair products. This has helped my fine, damage-prone hair stay healthy and shiny, and it's worked fantastically as a styling product. The only downside is that it sometimes makes my natural waves fall flat, but that might also be because my hair is a bit too long right now.

When I cut my hair short again, I might seriously consider going back to this conditioner.
