It exfoliates well with a medium-grit scrub that dissolves into a silky liquid on your skin. My skin feels soft and clean afterwards. I wouldn't say that the smell lingers on your skin too long afterwards- it is more about the experience of using it in the shower or bath. The tub is a good size for the price- you basically have to reach in with your fingers and scoop some scrub out which can be kind of akward if you have a small shower- you might have to turn off the water for a minute to avoid getting water in the container. I wouldn't say this is an everyday product- as incredible as it smells I think it would be a shame to use it everyday and get used to it. I use this about once a week when I want to really indulge myself and enjoy a hot, steamy, chocolatey shower. Good exfoliation though, it doesn't melt as quickly as alba botanica sugar scrub (that one is very moisturizing~) and it has nice strong chocolate scent, keep smelling it all the way you shower!!! The warming effect disappears in seconds so it makes no difference. I like the natural ingredients in it~ Pros

I have ultra sensitive skin, and this so far is the only scrub that hasn't made my skin break out. It's gentle but still effective. Comments about Giovanni Hot Chocolate Sugar Scrub with Crushed Cocoa Beans, 9 oz: Okay, this stuff is amazing, what everyone has said is true, however, for [$] you do not get a lot and for my personal pleasures, I like to use a generous amount to get the dry skin off and doing that daily adds up to using one jar in 2 weeks.Almost 30 bucks a month for a heavenly, chocolate scrub daily?..hmm, normally I wouldn't mind, but things are tight and since I also buy bubble bath/shower gel, that just adds up too quickly.
