I only bought this because I was deployed to Afghanistan and our little PX was out of gel. Yes, I know it is crazy, but many Soldiers still need various hygience products while deployed. Anyway, I was a little upset at the price since I was used to the cheap, 1.99, gigantic bottle of gel. However, after using this this gel I quickly realized the difference and feel the cost is worth it. I used to get dry scalp and dandruff from other gels. It does not happen with this. Also, my hair does not get crusty. I have only good things to say about it. I think the organic piece is a win-win also.

I use this on my short hair and it is one of the few natural products that works very well.

I used this on my hair without any other products and although it holds really well, it can be a little drying. For thick, coarse, wavy hair like mine I think it's best to start with something more moisturizing then add this gel to the ends, or after my hair is dry for extra definition. It's a great product though and it smells clean (but not like laundry detergent.)

Hi I am changing over into the organic world back to ols school products and I am presently locking my hair. My locktician used this product on my hair ro start my lock and since i am a BC survivor anything ECO green and Organic is best for me. as of 9/3 I am in need to order more for home and I went to 9 store in 2 days and they carried part of Giovoni's Line but not this gel.

I have curly hair, and this didn't work well for me. Not sure why, but my hair just didn't curl right, kind of turned out flat.

Gave it to my husband, who likes it fine, but wouldn't go out of his way for it.

I first tried this gel because it had a good safety rating. I kept buying it because my husband liked it and it worked for me as well. We both have a lot of hair, but it is fine-textured and slightly wavy (his is short, mine is long). This gel provides good hold without weighing down our hair, or getting too crunchy or greasy looking. The scent is light and pleasant. A natural product that performs well.

I haven't used gel in a very long time so I do not have anything to compare this gel to in my memory. Seems to be a fine product with little or no smell. I use only about a dime sized amount on my hair (fine hair but LOTS of it and shoulder length). It does not seem to help with static electricity in the winter (the product does not claim to help but I thought it might). Seems to help in styling my hair. I also use the leave-in conditioner spray too and the hair spritz after styling to hold the style. I haven't gotten to use the product in the hot, humid weather to see if I still like how the product works in these conditions. Will likely purchase again but may try other products first.
