My hair is very fine and I get good volume using this alone (more with the 66 root lift). The only downside is that my highlighted hair gets a little dry in the summer with this product...but it would be prone to do so anyway. Frankly, I am baffled by the reviews saying how sticky/gunky this product is. It should be applied on damp hair, and 2-3 pumps do the trick for my chin-length fine hair. Even compared to those expensive products that contain toxic chemicals, this still makes my hair look and feel much better. I have tried many eco hair products and always go back to this one. I have converted over to all natural skin care products and was looking for a natural hair products so I decided to try this. I didn't have very high expectations, but I found I was quite surprised with the overall performance of the product. I have very straight, fine hair that is cut into a bob,and I need a pretty strong mousse. If it's too heavy it will make my hair oily. I use about an egg size amount and run it through my hair and make sure to get it at the roots. My hair feels soft and silky without feeling sticky and it holds the style all day.

He has never had this problem with this brand. It's sometimes hard to find, but drugstore.com makes it easy!

I just scrunch it in and leave my hair to air dry (unless I'm in a hurry). My hair is never crunchy, but my curls are very curly. If you are looking for something for mega-hold or helmet-head--this isn't it. But, if you are looking for something to tame the frizz and have bouncy curls--this is for you. No smell that I can detect (I hate it when products have a strong smell).

An added plus is the wonderful smell - and it is organic. Some of the other reviews say that it doesn't control friz - but it doesn't say that it does that. I use it to help keep the style when I use a curling iron. It does a wonderful job, is not sticky or heavy, and gives my hair great body and hold.
