Comments about Giovanni Root 66 Max Volume Shampoo, 8.5 fl oz: The ingredients in the Giovanni Root 66 shampoo that I purchased at a retail store are different from those in the "same label" shampoo that I purchased thru this website. I love both the retail and the drugstore.com versions and would recommend either one for use with thin, fine hair. It leaves my hair squeaky clean and ready for a spritz on, leave in conditioner plus a light weight volumnizer.

Comments about Giovanni Root 66 Max Volume Shampoo, 8.5 fl oz: I've bounced around to a lot of brands in the past, but I think I'll stick with this shampoo for awhile; it's great! It smells fantastic, it's not heavy on my finer hair. The shampoo and conditioner combo is just the right amount of cleanser and smoothness. I would say that I use a bit more shampoo than conditioner-- it's probably a 2-1 ratio, but that happens with a lot of brands. I've only been able to find it in the stores on an on an off basis, so it's awesome to see it here on sale.

Comments about Giovanni Root 66 Max Volume Shampoo, 8.5 fl oz: I lost my hair to chemo about 3 yrs ago & when it grew back, it was finer & thinner so I have gotten into the habit of reading info about volumizing products. I had read about this Giovanni product in a magazine article that indicated it was available through drugstore.com [...]. I ordered it (not on sale at the time) & paid more than I like to - when I used it, could not tell that volume was any better than other less expensive volumizing shampoos, and my hair was drier than usual. I was looking forward to this working great & was disappointed. Have only used once & probably won't use it since it is drying & if I have to use conditioner much on this fine,thin hair, it is then limper.
