Thin plastic bags are hard close, open and easily tear. ok for sandwiches, not anything more demading.

I like these bags a lot. I use a lot of zippy bags and have noticed that Glad bags are a little thicker than most brands and don't rip as easily. Can only assume that a slightly thicker bag preserves better, but that's what I hope. I like them, and I'll keep buying them.

Just another zipper bag for sandwiches. I loved Glad's fold-top sandwich bags and used them until they, apparently, quit manufacturing them. These new zipper bags are nothing special.
