I stopped using "plug-in" types of air fresheners years ago because you can't smell them unless you put your face right AT THE OUTLET and that's just stupid. When nice solids came out I switched and was somewhat more satisfied because there are several places one can use them where they CAN be placed very close to the face and so the scent comes into the nose every few minutes, just like when perfume is worn. You don't smell it with every breath, just every few or rather a few times every minute or so. Putting a solid like these great smelling Glade products on a table that's within a foot or so of your face will bring pleasing results. I have really happy dreams whenever there is a nice smell coming to me during the night and so I keep a solid air freshener on my bedside table all the time and open it only when I lay down to sleep. It lasts longer if I keep it closed when I'm not in bed. I would NOT recommend this to freshen a whole room or anything because that's just not gonna happen, but when I can get the solid really close to my face it's wonderful! Most things have their better uses, and I found what it was for this product so I would indeed indulge in your favorite fragrance and enjoy 8^}
