I have rosacea and had an extremely bad flare up in March. My skin literally rejected EVERY product I used. In my last hopes of finding a moisturizer I read about this product on a rosacea forum. It is made in Canada, so at first I could only find it on websites in Canda, [...]. When I saw drugstore.com had it, I was ecstatic. I ordered with no expectations since my skin had been crazy and rejecting everything I tried. After a few uses of Glaxal Base, my skin improved 80%! It was less red, more moisturized and better yet, it didn't irritate! I have been using it for about a month now with no irritation to my rosacea or breakouts. If you have tried Vanicream, but needed more moisture, you should try Glaxal Base. I tried Vanicream, but wasn't enough moisture and it broke my face out. The only thing I will say about Glaxal Base is that it does have a medicine smell, but it goes away very quickly, doesn't linger at all. Highly recommend! A friend of mine recommended Glaxal Base a couple of months ago. It provides long lasting and deep moisture without clogging my pores. I've been using Glaxal Base for the past month on my face, neck, and shoulders. Once in the morning and once just before I go to bed. My skin doesn't get dry like it use to and feels much more supple. It's not greasy like a lot of other moisturizers I've tried.
