It used to be that if my blood sugar dropped overnight, I'd be standing in front of the refrigerator eating or drinking something to bring my sugar up - then I'd pay for it the next morning with high sugar readings. With Glutose 15, though, I've been able to twist off the cap and ingest the product easily while staying in bed. My sugar reading the next morning was so much better than mornings following a refrigerator run!

I have not used this product, but did some research and it says there are 60! servings in one 1.3 oz bottle...which is very very wrong....there are only 60 calories and one serving....

Paramedics can do this intravenously.

I have tried different glucose tablets. They don't seem to work fast enough for me. I thought this was the answer. The taste is not bad, but it's hard to get down. I thought the tube was rather big, and it was very difficult to swallow all that was in the tube. It did not work any faster for me than other things do. Everyone is different, but it wasn't worth the money for me.
To treat a hypoglycemic reaction before unconsciousness occurs: Twist tip off, squeeze entire contents of tube (15 grams of glucose) into mouth and swallow. If no response within 15 minutes repeat dosage. If no response within 30 minutes, contact physician or healthcare provider.
